Position Title:   Customer Service Representative – Balmar, LLC

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a highly capable, energetic individual who actively supports the Balmar and CDI Electronics Sales and Marketing team.  The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial, ‘can do’ attitude willing to jump in and get involved.   The individual will be responsible for inside sales activities and order entry. The CSR will assist in developing new accounts including initial customer contact, supporting growth opportunities, and maintaining customer relationships. As an instrumental team member, he or she will work closely with management to grow the company’s sales revenue.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in presenting company products and services
  • Manage new and existing customer orders from order through shipment
  • Work closely with the quality department on warranty and technical support
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, information, or feed back gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Answer phone and respond to customer requests
  • Assist in the management of distributor agreements and other sales programs
  • Coordinate distribution of product catalogs, sell sheets and other marketing materials to distributors and dealers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 30 lbs. and perform other basic physical demands of the position as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • 2-5 Years of proven customer service / order entry experience 

Education:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate’s degree or more preferred

  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or quality system
