For the second year in a row, CDI Electronics teamed up with Yamaha for the SkillsUSA competition, held at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta,GA on March 21 – 23, 2013. The two companies co-sponsored the test stations for the secondary and post-secondary Marine Technology students from North Georgia Technical College.

 “CDI Electronics Technical Institute is dedicated to help educate the future marine technicians so the Marine Industry will always have great technicians for years to come”, said David McGowan, Technical Advisor for CDI Electronics.

SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled, and service occupations.

SkillsUSA programs also help to establish industry standards for job-skill training in the lab and classroom and promote community service.
